Our policy is to accept nominations solely from our advocates (local churches and community organizations) with whom we have partnered after our review process. We currently have advocates in Oakville, Burlington, Mississauga and Hamilton. These organizations have an ongoing relationship with the nominee and can attest to the genuine need. They also serve as an ongoing support system to assure that a vehicle recipient would be able to afford to insurance, fuel, and other associated maintenance costs.
It is important to note that not all nominations can be approved. While our goal is to help as many people as possible, we are a small organization that is slowly building partnerships to expand our capacity. Each nomination is carefully reviewed by a committee, and even if approved will be subject to the availability of vehicles.
